Play Arabic is a carefully designed Arabic learning software built especially for young children, early beginners, and first-time learners - even for children who cannot yet read, write, recognise the alphabet, or hold a pencil correctly. Through its unique "Click and Learn Methodology", children learn naturally by seeing, hearing, clicking, tracing, repeating, and interacting joyfully with the language step by step.
At the heart of Play Arabic is the powerful Sound and Image Concept, where every lesson connects visual understanding with listening and interaction. Instead of beginning with memorisation or difficult rules, children first experience Arabic naturally through rhythm, movement, animation, pictures, and guided discovery. Every sound is connected to an image, every image to meaning, and every lesson to active participation.
The programme is also specially designed as a Child-Parent Twinning programme, encouraging parents and children to learn together through shared exploration and interaction. The learning journey begins with the joyful Arabic Alphabet Song, where animated Arabic letters move beautifully from the centre and organise themselves into an oval formation as the song progresses. At this stage, children are not pressured to read or write. Instead, they simply listen, enjoy, memorise, and sing along naturally through repetition.
Once familiar with the melody and sequence, learners move to Alphabet Song Practise, where they can click individual letters to hear their rhythmic sounds and even build the complete song independently through interaction. This transforms learning into playful discovery while strengthening sound recognition and memory.
After mastering the song, children continue with Meet the Arabic Letters, where each of the 28 Arabic letters is introduced individually through sound and visual recognition. Learners repeatedly click each letter, listen carefully to its sound, and become familiar with its unique shape. Through repetition and interaction, Arabic letters gradually become friendly and recognisable rather than difficult symbols to memorise.
The next stage, Letter Sound in Pictures, strengthens sound association through meaningful visual connections. Each letter is linked to a familiar picture and word, allowing children to connect the sound of the letter with the sound of the word and the image itself.
Writing skills are introduced gradually and visually through animated guidance. In See the Letter, children watch each Arabic letter being written step by step from right to left, observing correct stroke order and understanding how each letter begins, moves, and ends.
Once learners become familiar with the sounds and shapes of Arabic letters, they begin guided practice through Write the Letter. Children trace and write each letter step by step by following shaded guides that teach correct movement, direction, and writing flow. The REWRITE option allows unlimited practice without pressure, encouraging comfortable and repeated learning.
After mastering individual letters, learners progress to See the 3 Positions and See Writing in Positions, where they discover that Arabic letters change shape in the beginning, middle, and end of words while remaining the same letter.
The journey then continues into Write in 3 Positions and Write in Flow, where learners practise writing connected letters smoothly in words. Similar-shaped letters are grouped systematically, making Arabic handwriting easier and less overwhelming for beginners.
After building a strong foundation in letters and writing, learners move into Arabic pronunciation through Vowels and Their Sounds. Here, children are introduced to all nine vowel patterns: short vowels, double short vowels, and long vowels - presented clearly and systematically.
The vowels are then practised inside real words through Vowels Inside Words, where learners apply all vowel sounds in alphabetical order across the Arabic letters, strengthening reading confidence.
In Letter at Play, learners strengthen fluency further by reading letters in different word positions together with vowel combinations, building confidence through repetition, rhythm, and familiarity.
The programme also introduces Stand-Alone Letters, helping children understand that Arabic letters may appear in four forms: beginning, middle, end, and isolated.

In Arabic, diacritic marks are small symbols placed above or below letters to guide pronunciation, reading, and meaning. In the GOAL methodology, they are introduced in two categories: vowel marks and non-vowel marks.
After mastering vowel sounds, learners later progress in Flow Arabic to understand non-vowel marks and advanced reading patterns.
